Translations

With a Fulbright grant, I lived for a year in Bogotá, Colombia while researching and translating poems by the Colombian modernista poet José Asunción Silva.  Currently, I am translating a book-length collection of poems by the Cuban poet Severo Sarduy.

My translation of José Asunción Silva's "A Poem" can be found in The FSG Book of Twentieth-Century Latin American Poetry.

My translations of two sonnets by Severo Sarduy can be found in Princeton's Translation Journal, Inventory (issue 2010).

My translation of José Luis Rey's "Dog's Walking Song" appeared here in Guernica: A Magazine of Art and Politics.
