At the University of Virginia, Semester at Sea, and Harvard, I have taught or assisted professors in teaching creative writing, Spanish language, and the history of feminist thought. I was also a resident tutor (for two years) and a senior resident tutor in fellowships (for one year) at Pforzheimer House, one of Harvard's twelve undergraduate resident homes. At Harvard, I have twice received the Derek Bok Center's Certificate of Distinction in Teaching.
